Todays post is going to be a short one. I am leaving in a few minutes to go shopping with the family. I have to get a new baby gate and a booster seat for Aiden. I'm a little late getting my freebie out this morning. I got up with the kids at 6:00 and played for about an hour. Then we all got breakfast and of course, Emma managed to get about a pound of rice krispies and milk in her hair. LOL. So... off to the bath! By the time I bathed both kiddos, redressed them and hopped in the shower myself.... here I am.

I woke up this morning and everything was soooo quiet. The kids were sleeping so soundly, the dog was asleep, the cat was asleep, and the Hubby was gone to work. There was just me! I jumped out of bed and ran to the kitchen... would I have time to grab a cup of tea and a bagel before they woke up? NOT A CHANCE!!! As soon as Emma heard me in the kitchen she ran out and greeted me with the biggest smile. "Hi MomMom!" she yelled as she rounded the corner. I kinda giggled to myself and picked her up for her good morning snuggle. Just seeing that smile on her face was the perfect start to my day. Todays wordart is a perfect match to my morning!

I had a little extra time yesterday to get a few new wordarts done. The kids were so good! They played most of the morning and watched a little Treehouse TV. I think I got about 3 hours of design time. It was great! Then last night the Hubby watched the kids and I got a good hour more! I can't believe it! Here is one of my creations. Enjoy!

Strong and Content

This has been a long day! I was up at 5:30 with Aiden and couldn't get him back to sleep until almost 7:00. Just as I get back in bed, I hear a little voice whining "MomMom". Emma jumped up in the bed with me but wouldn't go back to sleep. All she wanted to do was tickle. She's so sweet. So... I am very tired. I couldn't go to bed though without giving you your freebie. Oh yeah, i'm pre-publishing this one.

I'm back and i've got new stuff at Pretty Scrappy: Plus a new wordart freebie!

Well.... what a crappy week I had! It all started with a stupid stomach flu type buggy thingy that the whole family got. Poor little Emma had it the worse. She was the sickest. I was so worried about her. It was so hard trying to take care of 2 sick babies, a sick hubby, and myself... but... I prevailed! Hooray for me. On Saturday we actually got to take the kids out to the park for an hour so they could blow some of the sick stink off of them . LOL. Here are a few pics from our trip to the park.

Family Update: I just wanted to let you all know that things are finally starting to return to normal at my house. The Hubby is better, Aiden is too. I am still a bit under the weather and poor little Emma is still my little sick girl. She is getting better but still can't eat much. She is trying her hardest to get better and hopefully she will soon. There is a really bad virus going around Calgary right now and of course, WE had to catch it too. As soon as I can, i'll get some freebies loaded in for you all. Well... it's past my bedtime (pre-publishing this for tomorrow, which when you read it, it will be today... make sense? LOL). I gotta go and get some rest.
