PLAY WITH WORDS CHALLENGE

I have a treat for you all today... It's my first challenge in the forums of Pretty Scrappy. It's called PLAY WITH WORDS! Basically, here's what you do:

1. If you haven't registered for the forum at Pretty Scrappy yet, do that first.

2. Find my challenge PLAY WITH WORDS.

3. Download the wordart.

4. Create a layout using the wordart.

5. Post the layout in the same thread.

How simple and fun is this? Each participant will receive 50 points for entering the challenge. 50 points equals 50 cents. (See the explanation in the forum for the point system) Also as a little extra something something... I will choose my favorite layout and you will get a one time use coupon for 50% OFF an order in my store. Yay!

Oh yeah... if you enter all challenges in the forum this month, you'll get a 75 point bonus!

STAR OF WONDER

This is going to be a quick post this morning... I have a lot of errands to run today and I have to get ready to go and then get the kids ready too. It is going to be a busy morning but I should be back home again by lunchtime and in time for the kiddos naps. Here is a little wordart for you all. Enjoy.

WINTER WONDERZ: My new kit at Pretty Scrappy, PLUS A NEW WORDART FREEBIE!!!

I hope that you all had a great weekend. We did. On Saturday we took the kids shopping for Christmas presents. I'm almost finished! I just have a few more to get and then all we have to do is move into the new house and put up the Christmas Tree so we have a place to put all the presents. LOL. I also got my hair cut! My hair was fairly long and stretched down my back... now its above the shoulders and layered. I was so sick of always having to wear my hair up. This is a very welcomed change. I'm going to try and post a few new pics soon so you'll get to see the new "Do". Sunday was a very lazy day. It snowed here in Calgary so we stayed home and watched Christmas shows with the kids. We had a great supper, watched more TV and then got the kids off to bed for the night. Ahhh.... sleep!

I had some internet difficulties the past few days so I haven't been able to do much online. It gave me a chance to complete some new wordart for you all. I am continuing on with the clipart/doodle/christmas stuff. I really liked the way todays turned out. Enjoy. And be sure to leave a little love when you download.

Last night I was flicking though the tv channels trying to find something Christmasy to watch with the kids and I found one of my favorite Christmas shows from when I was a kid... WORDART AND BOOKMARK FREEBIES!

When ever I get the chance I love to sit down with a cup of tea and a good book. These days those precious moments are very few and far between. With kids, a household to run, a Hubby to look out to, and just the general crazyness of my life, I don't get to read much. I am not one to make any New Year resolutions but hopefully in the new year, I would love each day to sit down with that tea and a good book and have a few minutes of quiet reading time. I thought that you might enjoy this cute little bookmark I made. I am going to try and have one ready for you all on or around the first of each month! I BELIEVE IN SANTA CLAUSE: New Wordart Freebie

I hope that everyone had a great weekend. Mine was very relaxing. On Saturday we took the kids out for lunch at McDonalds. Everytime we've asked Emma if she wanted to go to McDonalds to eat she always sings E.I.E.I.O.... it is so cute! Emma and Aiden love their Chicken McNuggets! Emma ate 6 of them with about 15 fries. Aiden ate 4 and about 25 fries! WOW that little guy can eat! I had a Big Mac and the Hubby had a Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese. We try not to eat takeout since we started our "DIET" but we were craving burgers. And of course, after the Mickey D's, we had to go to Tim Hortons for a large double double! I think that I am seriously addicted to Tim's coffee. LOL. And of course, while we were out, we had to drive by the new house. LOL. I wish that it was the 18th so we could get moved!

On Sunday we decided we would have family movie day. The kids took early naps so they were ready to watch movies after lunch. The first movie was "Rudolph". Not the original claymation type one, but the new one with the voices of John Goodman and Whoppi Goldberg. The kids loved it and we enjoyed it too. The next movie was "Christmas With The Cranks". It was great! The kids played through most of that one but they stopped on occasion to have a look. We then had a yummy supper with steak, potatoes, carrots, and whole mushrooms! Aiden ate everything on his plate of course but we had to almostfight with Emma to get her to eat enough. She loves to eat but sometimes she needs a little encouragement. The Hubby was on his last night of on-call and wouldn't ya know it... he gets a call at almost 7:00 and he had to go in right away. SUCKS!!! I had to spend the rest of the night alone with the kids watching Treehouse TV. All in all though, we had a great weekend. I am really starting to get in the mood for Christmas and everyday keeps getting us closer and closer to the big day!

I am continuing on with the picture wordart. I know that I already gave you a I Beleive in Santa Claus wordart but, this one has a cute Santa! Enjoy!
