ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE- Redesigned kit

I have been telling you little stories about Aiden over the months and about his lack of sleeping, hence, my lack of sleeping. Well, last night at 11:15 the hubby put him in my arms in our bed and went to the washroom. When he came back we were both asleep so the hubby ended up sleeping with Emma. I remember waking up and feeling the awful sensation of having to pee really bad. I looked at the clock and almost jumped out of bed... it was 6:45 AM!!! Aiden slept in my bed with me for almost 8 hours! I couldn't beleive it! I actually got some rest!I feel so great and Aiden is a pretty happy little guy too. For those of you out there who don't have kids or have kids who always sleep through the night, you cannot possibly imagine how wonderful this is! I SLEPT LAST NIGHT!!! LOL

Dani B said...: Yeah, I can so relate. I've totally given up on the whole crib vs. our bed thing. My son is 2 years old and it's just easier getting him to go to bed if he's with us. I'm usually u much later than DH anyhow so it's no biggie. Our two girls (5 and 4) slept with me off and on in the first couple years since that always seemed easier than getting up 12 times a night and they are each sleeping in their own beds, so it didn't seem to do any permanent damage.
