MONDAY MORNING MADNESS: Plus a new wordart freebie!

Hi All! Hope ya had a great weekend! Mine was quiet. Didn't do much except clean, organize, and spend time with the family. The weather was sucky so we stayed inside most of the weekend. It's supposed to be rainy, foggy, and yucky for the next few days too. I wanted to get the kids out for a few walks before the weather turned cold again but not with rain. Ain't gonna happen! LOL!

Saturday morning I spent most of it upstairs in the kids rooms going through their clothes. I was boxing up what they'd outgrown and what they'd worn this summer. There's a local kids consignment store here that i'm going to take it too and see if it can sell. If not, i'll probally post it online. I've got a huge box belonging to Emma and one almost equally as big for Aiden. When the kids nap today, I have to go downstairs to the basement and go through some more clothes that I have down there. I also have to get through their toys and baby stuff this week to get that ready to sell too. It's just taking up space in my house so it's time to go. I have a toddler bed, 2 mattresses that fit both a crib and toddler bed, a diaper genie, several mobiles and crib stuff, LOTS of toys (which i'll be donating to our local Childrens Hospital), 2 kids rockers, plus a big box of stuff that i'm not sure what it contains.

For the rest of this week i'll also be going through cabinets, drawers, boxes and bins to see what needs to be thrown to the garbage, what to keep, what to donate, and what to sell. Every year before Christmas I do this to get rid of some of the junk we've accumulated over the year. We've been in our house now for almost a year so it's time.

Yesterday while the kids napped, the Hubby and I got to watch a movie. It was great to have some alone time with him. We don't get enough of that. He cooked us a great supper, we gave the kids baths, watched the Simpsons Halloween episode and got the kids to bed. Hey... can you believe that the Simpsons have been on the air for 20 years. I remember the forst time I saw the show. Boy... do I feel old. LOL.

In between all the organizing madness, I hope to get a little designing done this week. I'm working on a few new goodies that I'm sure you'll love.
