I have to say that I am very hurt and dissapointed! I just received a phone call from my friend who told me that she just checked my blog and there was a very "hurtful" comment on todays post. I checked it and indeed there was. It was left by some coward who wouldn't even identify themselves. I offer my products from the goodness of my heart and offer them as freebies so all who wants them can enjoy them. If you don't like what I offer, you DON'T have to download it. I have had this blog now for a year and have NEVER had any complaints about my work, it's quality, or what I have been offering. This is going to be a quick post this morning... I have a lot of errands to run today and I have to get ready to go and then get the kids ready too. WINTER WONDERZ: My new kit at Pretty Scrappy, PLUS A NEW WORDART FREEBIE!!!

I hope that you all had a great weekend. We did. On Saturday we took the kids shopping for Christmas presents. I'm almost finished! I just have a few more to get and then all we have to do is move into the new house and put up the Christmas Tree so we have a place to put all the presents. LOL. I also got my hair cut! My hair was fairly long and stretched down my back... now its above the shoulders and layered. I was so sick of always having to wear my hair up. This is a very welcomed change. I'm going to try and post a few new pics soon so you'll get to see the new "Do". Sunday was a very lazy day. It snowed here in Calgary so we stayed home and watched Christmas shows with the kids. We had a great supper, watched more TV and then got the kids off to bed for the night. Ahhh.... sleep!

I had some internet difficulties the past few days so I haven't been able to do much online. It gave me a chance to complete some new wordart for you all. I am continuing on with the clipart/doodle/christmas stuff. I really liked the way todays turned out. Enjoy. And be sure to leave a little love when you download.

WORDART AND BOOKMARK FREEBIES!

When ever I get the chance I love to sit down with a cup of tea and a good book. These days those precious moments are very few and far between. With kids, a household to run, a Hubby to look out to, and just the general crazyness of my life, I don't get to read much. I am not one to make any New Year resolutions but hopefully in the new year, I would love each day to sit down with that tea and a good book and have a few minutes of quiet reading time. I BELIEVE IN SANTA CLAUSE: New Wordart Freebie

I hope that everyone had a great weekend. Mine was very relaxing. On Saturday we took the kids out for lunch at McDonalds. Everytime we've asked Emma if she wanted to go to McDonalds to eat she always sings E.I.E.I.O.... it is so cute! Emma and Aiden love their Chicken McNuggets! Emma ate 6 of them with about 15 fries. Aiden ate 4 and about 25 fries! WOW that little guy can eat! I had a Big Mac and the Hubby had a Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese. We try not to eat takeout since we started our "DIET" but we were craving burgers. And of course, after the Mickey D's, we had to go to Tim Hortons for a large double double! I think that I am seriously addicted to Tim's coffee. LOL. And of course, while we were out, we had to drive by the new house. LOL. I wish that it was the 18th so we could get moved!

On Sunday we decided we would have family movie day. The kids took early naps so they were ready to watch movies after lunch. The first movie was "Rudolph". Not the original claymation type one, but the new one with the voices of John Goodman and Whoppi Goldberg. The kids loved it and we enjoyed it too. The next movie was "Christmas With The Cranks". It was great! The kids played through most of that one but they stopped on occasion to have a look. We then had a yummy supper with steak, potatoes, carrots, and whole mushrooms! Aiden ate everything on his plate of course but we had to almostfight with Emma to get her to eat enough. She loves to eat but sometimes she needs a little encouragement. The Hubby was on his last night of on-call and wouldn't ya know it... he gets a call at almost 7:00 and he had to go in right away. SUCKS!!! I had to spend the rest of the night alone with the kids watching Treehouse TV. All in all though, we had a great weekend. I am really starting to get in the mood for Christmas and everyday keeps getting us closer and closer to the big day!

I am continuing on with the picture wordart. I know that I already gave you a I Beleive in Santa Claus wordart but, this one has a cute Santa! Enjoy!

Good Morning! Hope that everyone slept well and are all rested and ready for the beautiful day ahead! I guess that all of my American blog followers are preparing for Thanksgiving today. HAPPY THANKSGIVING! As you can tell by my chipper disposition, I am in a great mood today! Aiden slept almost the whole night, so did Emma and so did I! Yay!!!! Also, I GOT MY NEW HOUSE!!!!!!!!!! My offer was accepted! All we need now is a home inspection and if all goes well, which it should, the house is only 5 months old, we'll be moving in before Christmas!!! I am so happy! It has the most beautiful fireplace in the living room. I can't wait to hang our stockings on it Christmas eve. Thinking about stockings gave me a great idea for a cute wordart.... enjoy.

Well... it looks like we are going to look at another house today. Our offer wasn't accepted on the last one. We countered twice but it just wasn't the right price. I am fairly optamistic about this new one today though. It's bigger and right in the middle of our price range. It's the most wonderful time of the year

Good Morning! I hope that everyone had a great weekend. We went house hunting again and I think I found the perfect house. It has 2 stories plus a basement. 3 bedrooms, 2&1/2 baths, living/dining room/kitchen open area. Fireplace, Garage. Oh yeah... the kitchen has a dishwasher!!!! I hate washing dishes! IT"S SO BEAUTIFUL!!!! We are putting in an offer today... so cross your fingers and send out those good house buying vibes. It would be so wonderful to be able to get in before Christmas and have it in our new house. I just found out too that my brother and his girlfriend will be spending Christmas with us this year. I am so happy. He has gone back home to Newfoundland for the past 3 Christmases. It will be so great to have family here this year. The kids will be so excited to have their Uncle Eldon here with them.

Does anyone have their Christmas shopping done yet? I don't even know where to start! I have 2 gifts for the kids but that's it. We went a little overboard last year so I promised myself that this year things will be a little cheaper. And with the economy so uncertain right now, i'll have to be extra careful. But... the one thing that I want this year is a new laptop. I have a desktop computer right now which is OK, but I need something a little more portable. Hubby was looking at some yesterday and thinks he has it narrowed down to 3 different models. He wants to take me out this week to choose the one I want. He is even going to get all of my files and programs transferred from my old one to the new one! Yay!!!... I won't have to do anything! Now the only thing I have to decide is... do I want it in Pink or Silver. LOL.

All this talk of presents is making me wish it was Christmas morning already! LOL. It really is the most wonderful time of the year... see how I worked that in for todays wordart freebie. LOL. Enjoy.

THE MOST POWERFUL INFLUENCE

I had a rough night last night! Aiden was up a dozen times and would not go back to sleep. I'm so tired today that I can barely keep my eyes open. I think i'm gonna need a HUGE cup of black coffee to get the day started. I just don't know why he won't sleep. He's almost 16 months old but he still sleeps like a newborn. I just don't get it. We are supposed to go out looking at houses after the Hubby gets home from work today, but, I think all I want to do is sleep. LOL.

NEW LOOK FOR THE HOLIDAYS

Happy Monday Morning!!! I hope that everyone had a great weekend! Mine was amazing. The Hubby and I took a little Anniversary getaway to Banff. It was so beautiful. The mountains were snow-covered and perfect. It was just cold enough that you needed a warm jacket on, but not too cold that you couldn't walk outside. We had a great weekend!

So... What do you think of the new look for my blog? I am calling it my Very Merry Happy Holiday Winter Look. LOL. I have used a combination of 2 kits for this new look. The first is from a freebie kit I download from Digitreats last winter called SNOW. I used the snowflake and the striped paper. The second kit is from Designs by Ann-Marie called Christmas Wrap. All other elements used are from this kit. It's AWESOME! Let me know what you think! I am still doing some fine tuning and tweaking to get just the right look.

IT'S A BEAUTIFUL LIFE

2 years ago for Christmas, I gave my Hubby a satelite radio. It has LOTS of channels so there is always something good to listen to. I was listening to a 90's station yesterday and I heard the song "It's a beautiful life" by the 90's band ACE OF BASE. I used to love those guys and remember many nights out clubbing and dancing to The Sign. WOW. Do I ever feel old. LOL. I thought that I could make a wordart from the title... so... here it is. They are perfect for all of your Holiday layouts. I have also include a Holiday Sentiments pack which would be great to use on your Christmas and Holiday cards.
