I created this layout using my kit CHRISTMAS IS COMING. The wordart is from my wordart pack WE WISH YOU A MERRY CHRISTMAS. I took these pics of Emma on Christmas Eve when she was all dressed up to go to Mass. I just love her pretty Christmas dress.

SPECIAL SOMEONE: New wordart Freebie, and an update on my Nan

Good Morning! I was just talking to my Nan on the phone and she sounds great!!! She is feeling a million times better than she was and seems to be getting better. The Dr has taken her off IV and she is now eating soft foods. She is soooo happy about that! We are all so thankful that she is getting better. The bad news is still the same though... 50% of her pancreas is dead so if she has another attack, she may not survive. But, we aren't going to dwell on that fact. We are all so happy that she is getting better and that she isn't in any pain. She even told me that she was able to get in the bath today. That's a huge thing for my Nan the clean freak! LOL. She's still going to be in the hospital for a while until shes fully able to eat and take care of herself. I'm just so happy that she doing better!

Now... onto todays wordat freebie! I am continuing on with the love theme. I really like this quote too, but then again don't I like them all. LOL. Enjoy.

A KISS WITHOUT A HUG

Good Morning! I hope that everyone had a great nights sleep last night... I DID TOO!!! Aiden only woke up 3 times and went right back to sleep right away. What i've been doing with him seems to be working great. When he wakes up now, instead of taking him out of bed and rocking him back to sleep, I lay him down in his bed and gently pat his back. He sometimes rolls onto his belly or his back and usually falls back to sleep within a minute. It's been sooo much better this way. Now he still wakes up at 6 AM and then I take him over into my bedroom and sit in the rocking chair with him because Emma is uaually in my bed by this time too. LOL. I have tried all 3 of us in the bed but Aiden usually wants to pull his sissy's hair or jump on her. It's just better if we do it this way for now. I can usually get him to sleep in the rocking chair for another hour, which works out great for me. LOL. So, we just all finished breakfast and I got my morning cleaning done. I swept and mopped the floors. Then I vacuumed the carpets in the living room and going up and down both sets of stairs. I HATE VACUUMING!!!! Anything else I don't mind but I hate to vacuum. LOL. While the kids take their afternoon nap, i'll get to do my laundry and maybe even get to clean both of the bathrooms upstairs. By that point I should be all cleaned out. LOL.

Seeing that Valentines Day is fast approaching, I have been working on some love themed wordart for you all. I thought todays was really cute. Let me know what you think.

UPDATES: New wordart freebie and new layout!

Hi... I have a little update on my Grandma. She is feeling a little better the past few days but she is still very sick. They have done soooo many tests and have discovered that over 50% of her pancreas is dead. She now has fluid on her lungs and is on oxygen to help her breathe. They won't perform surgery on her because of her age, she probally wouldn't make it through a surgery. Also, if she has another attack, she probally won't survive it either. The infection is getting better, she's on lots of antibiotics and lots of pain medication too. She hasn't eaten anything since last Sunday night but today she was allowed to have black tea and coffee, and jello. She is so happy about that. She's a tough ole bird so we are hopeing and praying that she's going to make it through this. She finally got a phone in her hospital room today so I can't wait to call her later. Keep praying for her recovery as all of our family and friends are!

So... I was working on some new wordart yesterday when I got a message pop up on my screen. It told me that I was almost out of memory!!!! I couldn't believe it! Since I started designing I have been accumulating soooooooooooooo much CU stuff, plus all of my designs and kits, i've used all of my memory. The first thing I did was break out the ole CD's and started copying my files to them. I used 15 CD's and I have to buy more tomorrow. I am so in desperate need for an external hard-drive! I managed to free up some space though. It went from less than 8% space up to 21%. By the time I go though all the rest, I should be safe. How much free space should I have?

After all of that I decided that I should do a little scrapping. I created a cute wordart for your freebie today and wanted a layout to go with it. I had some pics of Emma playing with her keyboard and thought they would be perfect. One of my newest favorite designers is Chanin of Snowflake Beach Designs. She has a very cute and clean style that I just love. She just released her new kit Cora's Best Friend the other day so I bought it right away! It is beautiful. Check it out at her blog HERE . I have just released my new kit THE ANGEL's GARDEN. The colors in this great kit reminds me of my Grandmothers garden in the Autumn. It's full of browns, beiges, and beautiful greens. Good Morning All! I hope that everyone slept well. I tried but i'm so worried about my Grandmother I couldn't really settle down. I just called my Mom back in Newfoundland to see if there was any update on her condition but there isn't. She's on antibiotics for the infection and she isn't allowed any food in case she needs surgery. Hopefully we'll know more today.

COURAGE: New wordart freebie! Plus new contest at Pretty Scrappy!

I got some bad new yesterday from back home... My Nanny is in the hospital! I called home yesterday and my Mom told me that she was sick and in the hospital. At this point they didn't know exactly what was wrong with her. At 2:00 AM my Uncle heard Nanny in the washroom and when he went in to check on her she was doubled over in pain on the floor. He was going to take her to the hospital but she wanted him to call an ambulance. If you knew my Grandmother, you would know that she had to be in alot of pain to want an ambulance. Originally they thought she was having a heart attack but now we know that she has Pancreatitis. She has a really bad infection that is spreading throughout her body. She is on heavy duty painkillers and IV antibiotics for the infection. As of midnight last night she isn't allowed any food or water, just in case they have to do surgery. They are assuming that she has gallstones too. I'm waiting to hear from my Mom to find out how she is today. I hope and pray that she is ok! She could really use some thoughts and prayers today so if you pray... please say a prayer for her today. Thanks so much!

ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE- Redesigned kit

I have been telling you little stories about Aiden over the months and about his lack of sleeping, hence, my lack of sleeping. Well, last night at 11:15 the hubby put him in my arms in our bed and went to the washroom. When he came back we were both asleep so the hubby ended up sleeping with Emma. I remember waking up and feeling the awful sensation of having to pee really bad. I looked at the clock and almost jumped out of bed... it was 6:45 AM!!! Aiden slept in my bed with me for almost 8 hours! I couldn't beleive it! I actually got some rest!I feel so great and Aiden is a pretty happy little guy too. For those of you out there who don't have kids or have kids who always sleep through the night, you cannot possibly imagine how wonderful this is! I SLEPT LAST NIGHT!!! LOL

FRIENDSHIP needs no words

Well... today is going to be a busy day for me. I am finally going to get my pictures hung on my walls! That's been driving me crazy ever since we moved into the new house not to have them up. We have all of our furniture properly arranged, the kitchen is completely organized, the clothes are all hung up and put away, the linens are all folded and neatly arranged in my closet, the basement is still a complete and utter mess but that'll have to wait a while yet. LOL. The finishing touch will be getting those pics on the walls.

I have a stack of emails about 6 billion feet long that I am slowly trying to get through. There are several requests for wordart amongst them so please be patient as I get to them. Todays wordart is a request from Jan. She told me a cute story about a picture she has of her son and his best friend sitting on the dock at her summer cottage. They are dangling thier little feet in the water and not saying a word. She developed the pic in a sepia tone and "roughed" it up (her words) so the pic looks really old. She wanted this wordart to use on her layout. It should be a beautiful layout. Enjoy.

I'M BACK!!! I finally got my internet hooked up and I am so happy to be back in cyber land! I missed all of you sooooo much! I hope that everyone had a very Merry Christmas and a Safe Happy New Year! My christmas was great. It was so wonderful to be moved into the new house and to have family with us for the holidays. I have a few pics below of the house and from Christmas morning. I didn't get a chance to get any pictures on the wall so in some of the house pics the walls are pretty naked. Hopefully next week i'll get some better pics and get them posted for you all to see.
